Korean College Scholastic Ability Test mathematics section. Common questions on Mathematics I and II plus one elective: Probability and Statistics, Calculus, or Geometry.
Exam Format
Questions
30 questions: 22 common (Mathematics I and II, questions 1-22) + 8 from one elective (questions 23-30). Multiple choice: 1-15 and 23-28; short answer: 16-22 and 29-30.
Duration
100 minutes
Scoring

Study Strategies
- 1Bank the seventeen 2- and 3-point questions (1-8, 16-19, 23-27) in roughly the first 35 minutes; the hardest questions usually sit at 15, 22, 29, and 30, so leave them for last.
- 2Prioritize the common section: it carries 74 of the 100 points, and the 4-point band from questions 9 to 22 is where grade boundaries are usually decided.
- 3Train exact arithmetic: short answers take a whole number from 0 to 999 with no partial credit, so a slip in the last line of a correct method scores zero.
- 4Choose your elective (Probability and Statistics, Calculus, or Geometry) early: most universities no longer require a specific one, and switching late costs common-section revision time.
- 5Review past Suneung exams from 2022 onward systematically: the format is unchanged through the November 2026 exam, so every recent paper is a faithful rehearsal.
